Messages from the committee

Jo Merrick - Sport Diver Lectures are being run as a day's intensive course on the 10th February, 9 until 6pm. If anyone would like to come along please e-mail me at: training@wycombesubaqua.com

Jon Pearce – Would like to remind all members, that if you have any cylinders hanging around unused, when getting them tested get the valve removed and in the interior checked over for signs of rust. This is because there was a recent incident at Stoney Cove where a cylinder exploded whilst being filled.

Angela Gregory – I’m currently arranging this years Big Tuesdays, if anyone has any ideas or request please email me social@wycombesubaqua.com

Suzanne Tunn – Would like to remind members that if any of their contact details change please could you notify her ASAP.

John Handy – Is looking for people to write accounts of their dive trips for the web site. Please e-mail him at web@wycombesubaqua.com if you are interested in this.

Joke

A dive boat runs into a terrible storm. The boat gets pounded by rain and wind and huge waves. The divers are quiet but really scared. They are sure the boat is going to sink and they are all going to die. At the height of the storm, a young woman diver jumps up and exclaims:

"I can't take this anymore! I can't just sit here and drown like an animal. If I am going to die, let me die feeling like a woman. Is there anyone here man enough to make me feel like a woman?" .........

The Diving Officer stands up - a tall, handsome, muscular man (well it is a joke!), he smiles and starts to walk up to her. As he approaches her, he takes off his shirt. She sees his huge muscles....... and prominent six pack.

He stands in front of her, muscles bulging, shirt in hand and says to her:

"Here! Iron this!"
